    With your budget, stick to a Spanish boxlock side by side - second hand. There is very little in the OU category for this money that will compare to the quality and value that an AYA or Kestral S/S will offer; my pref would be an AYA No4 or AYA Yeoman; they are plain but functional and built to last. Both are stall made today and new are over £1000. Pick up a 10 yo model that looks exactly the same for a 1/4 of that price.

    Don't go near the Medalist; its not made by Browning; but the 525 model range is great. The "2" means grade of finish I suspect; Browning usually do a 1,2,3,4,5; 5 being the best, although they have started caling them prestige, ultra etc 525 = GREAT GUN

    Winchester do a full set of butchery knives, everything from a rib sprader to a bone saw, skinner and bonner in a case, and its not expensive. Ask your local gun or tackle shop, or give Crosscut in Wrexham a ring, they import them; allong with 100's other brands, prob the biggest knife distributor............

    True....round in circles we go. It sells rags, therefore its getting promoted and seen, glamourised and mugs try to emulate it; even if not intentionally they believe its the norm, its acceptable and just asume they can behave in the same way.....theres no winning I guess

    Barbour and the like will be out of that price bracket unless you look second hand (try ebay); have a look at the Sealand range, about the best value hunting jackets and bloody great for the money! Alternativly, I've just tested some of the new Regatta outdoor range and they are a lot better than they used to be; not hunting clothing per-se but I tried some wind stopper fleeces and waterproof jackets with lining that were bloody good. Not sure of the prices but def under £100 and in subtle shades of green too.....

    I'm more of a role model!!! But then I don't have a breast enlargement (they are big enough) or flash them about....... And I'm confused about my ethnisity; white guy wearing a middle eastern scarff!! Oh I'm all confused......do I shave my head, wear a man-skirt and speak in a squeeky voice or grow my hair long, swear, mugg old ladies and wear a hoodie?? I just don't know which way to turn!!     Has anyone got a P38 that has been converted from EAS to coil spring suspension? I've had mine done at about 1/3 cost of replacing the EAS and its great; a little bumpier on the road but nothig worth worrying about. Just wondered if anyone had any experiance of the conversion and their opinions? One thing I have noticed is the ride noise has changed, more high pitch; that I'm not too happy about and if I could do something about it I would but its a small price to pay for the practicality, peace of mind and cost saving!! .........also, looking for a raised air intake snorkel but cant f

    I'm not getting old....well, not THAT old, but I agree with much of what you say. Be it kids or anyone, the media puts such emphasis on us all having the latest and greatest. We see all this fake flash bling celebraty rubbish in everything and everywhere we look. A car and a train are traveling towards the same point on the same road/railway crossing; on the same road, at the same time, date, same speed etc...... .......neither speeds up, neither slows down or stops......yet they don't crash........h
