    i know were u are comming from, telling people to be carefull but there is a snobishness within gun dogs that needs to be abolished snobishness you can say that again!! The papers are just a trust thing!! Like i could breed from my old springer who's 7 in october and use her daughter's papers who's 3 in november!! fu*k me av seen some sh*t dog's with papers! My grandad's dog is a topper and his sister both have no paper but both dam n sire had paper's!! when i was 16 i got a springer bitch off a fella who said both sire/dam had died sire was hit by a car and dam died having pup's

    Treat them separately. Hyperdrug Flea and tick treatment - last for ages. Then alternate using drontal and panacur not more than six months apart as they both treat diffrenet worms.

    Absolute rubbish. Talk to the Kennel Club and find your local clubs, then phone up the secretary of each club, tell them what you are doing and ask fo a membership form. We are a friendly lot and always welcome new members as you are the lifeblood of any working club. Go for it Missyand ignore the merchants of doom and gloom - they will never amount to anything anyway. Good luck

    Another thing that has not been mentioned, which part of your finger do you use to pull the trigger. You should use your fingertip which is much more sensitive but a lot of people use the first joint of the finger.

    11.15 It should be noted that chief officers of police are not empowered (as they are with firearm certificates) to impose any conditions of their own on shot gun certificates. The only exception to this is in relation to section 5(5) of the 1998 Rules and section 5A(3) of the 1968 Act (as amended). This provides that when a person wishes to acquire a shot gun disguised as another object for the purpose of it being kept or exhibited as part of a collection, the certificate shall be subject to an additional condition restricting the use of that shot gun to use for that purpose.     Unless there was a specific extra condition listed on your certificate, then you were informed wrong there mate. You have to be supervised by someone over 21 when you are 14.     You ought to ask the breedrer what he is feeding and keep the puppy on that for some time - it causes enough upset to the p[up brining it home anyway without changing its diet too

    The guns choice is simply that, the guns choice. It has no relevance to the trial awards and is an opportunity to get the Guns more involved in the trial - they are paying for their part of the day. It doesn't matter what dog they give it to, whether in the awards or not, but most often they seem to give to the handler they would most like to take home.........
