what little tips do every one have on making life a bit easier when out ferreting heres one to start things of, always leg your rabbits when there still warm as it is a lot harder to do when they go stiff

caught a black one on the lamp many years ago but caught a white and ginger one ferreting 7 or so years ago must have been a pet once but was still as wild as the rest when we caught it and causing as much damage

u dont say how old she is. she could just be a old hand at her job and just got two good and quick for bolting the rabbits , get use to digging the rabbits out or use her for breeding as sounds like shes from good stock

got headache now think i got it now thanks Hes a corker, how big was he? We took the biggest grass snake out of the mother in laws pond last summer. it still had two gold fish in! We released it but got a photo somewhere, i'll have a look for it. its only a baby found some eggs in a compost bin and some hatched,we found about 6 or 7 but over a few days we found 3 or 4 dead and it looked like e,ver mice or birds had a go at them but dont no for sure

james wellbeloved is fine but bloody dear, if u have alot of ferrets .dodson an horrell make one called chudleys ferret and at just over 20 quid for a 15kg bag is nearly half the price

sometimes they get use to eating one thing and dont take to change well dont feed them for a day or two and when there hungry there soon start to eat rabbit. plus rabbit will be more of a ballanced diet for them .when not feeding rabbit ,pigeon,rat exc... i would recommend feeding dry ferret food

its sounds shes just excited and should calm down after working a bit longer, also if the ferret meets a rat down the warren it can make them a bit wound up

i wouldnt let to many people no u feed live mice and gerbils as i think u could find your breaking the law .cant remember how its worded but i think its to do with entrapment or something simaler . plus theres probaoly a few gerbil huggers out there lol ps sorry about the spellingggg {just seen your in denmark laws for u.k dont no about over there}

i take my hat of to u woodga would love to have ground that holds that amount of rabbits, but i dont .but still am happy with what i have because one day somebody might try and stop us all doing what we all love doing hunting full stop. so leave woodga alone and just be happy with what ever land u have to hunt on be it one or two rabbits or three hundred .if we cant stick togather what chance have we happy hunting (p.s 43 is my best ,0 my worse)
