  1. No problems or grivences with this gun at all, cant fault it in fact. Just wondered, at what reading on the pressure gauge do you start to get a drop in power?? I tend to fill back up at between 50 & 100 and so dont get to the point where i see a drop in power. How many shots do you get from a full fill before you loose the clout and pin point accuracy??

  5. but some of these bullx boys are 20 years behind and claiming world beaters , i bet they have example : pie somewhere in it and claim all there breeding. This is very probably the case with many a lurcherman. If a young lad starts in the game now and wants to breed his "own strain"of bull cross then he has to start somewhere. Now unless he has a lot of time on his hands and is willing to start from the very begining then he is obviously going to have to start off with a line of bully X that another person has bred, how long would a person have to breed dogs using a foundation bully from a
  6. The people breeding and working these lines worthey of the title "legacies" are less and less lightly to put themselves out in the spot light so to speak. The way society has evolved/degenerated away from running dogs, means that it will never be viewed in the same way by the majorities as in the days of Plummer etc.
  7. Before the novelty of spending £150 a season to fish a strech of the Fowey for Salmon and Sea Trout wore off, i used to lamp for my worms as mentioned above. I accidently discovered that " fairy-up liquid" produced more worms than i knew what to do with, i was good at getting lobs but not so hot at getting the fish!!!!

  11. I didnt think this was a unique thing, though obviously not as common as your standard brock else we would see lots of yellow-uns at the sides of roads, it was just that it had all its perfect markings only they were bright yellow rather than grey. The rest of the brock was white as the driven snow, which gave such contrast to the yellow. Im sure though that there are many variations within the different albino brock, so what i saw as an albino/yellow brock, might be quite different from the next moochers sighting of one.
  12. Quite strange to look at arnt they, the only thing i can liken it to, colour wise, would be a python i once saw that had the same sort of yellow and white pigmantation.
  13. One of my regular mooching routes with the hounds is a massive circuit that goes through and up an old clay pit. When i get to the top most level, which has an amazing panoramic view, i usually sit on a big lump of granite and watch the world go by for a bit. There are loads of deer to sit and look at feeding on the lower levels and normally i get an ausome display from the Buzzards and smaller bops that frequent this stunning place. Anyway, this time i was sat there as usual with three of my lurchers and they all gave the ears up fixed stare at a particular patch of gorse, i called them in
  14. Iv got a Bob-white cock bird in with some of my Japanese/Italian hen birds, i saw today that the bob is treading the hens. Do the two breeds cross?? The incubation period of the eggs is different for the two breeds, Bobs take 21 days and the others take 15 days, does this have relevance to compatability?? sorry if these are considdered daft questions, any info greatly recived.

  17. I enjoy the odd game and have looked for a good & free site to play chess against others on. Found Game twist.co.uk. Im "Kernowy" if anyone wants a game!!?? Iv played against a few people over the years and seem to find that the hunting minded folk play a certain way!!??
