  1. That’s crazy mate .Had plenty of break through to the opposite ,tiny crack in the ground where Charlie has squeezed in but never a chasm like that .Thanks for sharing .
  2. Never disputed it mate .On the first question we just need the …..and I’m sold .
  3. Snow now gone here so return to normality.God I’ve missed the dirt .
  4. I’m saying conditions in this country aren’t too far from Canada ,parts of USA where cougars are part of the fauna mate not that it’s possible they are here .
  5. f****n ell you smokin the herb tonight pal .I’ve never said they are here now ,ever ffs .Releases and escapes of yesteryear yes but now ,can’t see it myself .Other opinions available of course .
  6. It is interesting mate .Hate to harp on about that tiny little elephant in the room called EVIDENCE but without it ,in your words ,every last one is a crackpot ,crank or druggie . Mmmmm mighty telling don’t you think .???
  7. ???.Seriously mate ,you’d be welcome here to stalk roe anytime with the odd muntie . In return you can put me onto that stag you see most days ???
  8. Easily possible is not the same as definitely there though is it mate .Conditions are right for many more mammals that arnt here either .
  9. As usual we only had an inch of dust but 10 miles away they had 3 inches plus .Went foxing Saturday night after it stopped over there .Never saw a thing ,no deer ,fox ,hares or rabbits ,nada but was good to be out in it
  10. Scoot on over to Wilts mate and that’s thl southern done in one foul swoop .Feck all here to kill mind, scorched earth .
  11. I’m not good at quizzes so what’s your verdict mate ?
  12. Pre the year 2000 they don’t count mate as we all agree escapes and releases happened .What a few ,myself included dispute is the presence of the same type of large cat nowadays post 2000 and the breeding colony we are lead to believe is the reason for recent sightings .
  13. Agreed mate but I’ve witnessed first hand the grief from a person feeding the bloody things can bring and subsequent police enquiry .Not me doing the shooting but a keeper i know very well.He shot the feral in a game cover and was seen carrying it out by a tenant on the estate who had been feeding the thing ,said it was her cat .
  14. Greyman knows this too mate or we wouldn’t still be having the debate would we . When the right pic shows up we can have a right old group hug .
  15. As they arnt on my license at moment then no mate but if they are ever recognised and I see one killing livestock or near it then yes .The law regarding house ,feral cats is sketchy enough without having the feckers on steroids ???
  16. Agreed mate but nothing forthcoming yet .The tree is the scale for me as well as shape of the cat ,the ears ,the flanks ,the size as it moves off compared to everything else . Ill wager none of the “experts “are ever named who say it’s a cougar nor shall we ever see the location in daylight or a scale of any sorts .
  17. Heres the vid in question for those who missed it .
  18. Could equally be one of these but a cougar it isn’t .
