The fawning from Kellerman was pathetic really, but i agree with almost everything you said but I gave Canelo the first three. The truth is, Canelo would have always had problems with Crawford, no matter the age, no matter the experience. To say on paper a rematch is one of the biggest fights out there, I definitely wouldn't pay for it and that says it all really.

Canelo has always struggled with boxers, he's got heavy feet, no jab and is power hungry. There's one thing for sure, I'm glad I didn't stay up for the thing, but my bodyclock always wakes me up when there's a big fight on. Lol

It was a close fight for me, but as I said, when they rob Canelo of the first two rounds that he clearly won, with the commentary and director influencing things then I think that they were trying to set the narrative of the fight. Canelo would have always struggled to look good against Crawford, it takes more than pot shotting to stamp your authority on a great boxer who has the speed advantage. Canelo basically doesn't have a jab, inexcusable really, poor fight for me though.

When they score the first two rounds to Bud when Canelo clearly won them then it's fair to ask the question, are we being led down the garden path by Kellerman and Ward? I recall at the end of the first round they showed one replay and that was the single shot Bud landed, not one playback of any of Canelo's several shots. I lost interest in the middle rounds but I got the picture that Canelo was keeping up with the bodywork and single well timed shots whilst Bud landed eye catching shots in combinations. I must have watched another fight, I woke up this morning and it was the 6th, played it from the start with the volume on very low. The commentary set the narrative of that fight, I mean how the f**k did they give Crawford the first two rounds, especially the first, he only landed one punch of note whilst Canelo landed several including effective body shots.

Corker that, the big fight is free on Netflix. The question is, stay up to watch it live or watch it in the morning? I'm sure the last fight on Netflix the repeat was ruined by spoilers.
