  1. cheers bud, yeah was cheap, easy to work with and light, what would you use to treat it with, i don't want to harm the ferrets but i am going to paint it, same colour as fence
  2. made a start on the run today, will post more pics of it tomorro, when the frame work it finished and the mesh put on cheers for all the comments
  3. in reply to the one and wjr, that wood is exterior OSB. the roof will be felt
  4. can't you just shoot from you door way, a grage or even some bushes facing your drive? this would be easyer

  8. well i asked them if i could send a copy of my P60 but they want the original , i was a bit aprehensive about sending it , but it looks i will have to give in & send it send it recorded delivery (sorry if spelling rong)

  10. good idea, but to be honest pal, i only put hay and towels in their bedroom area, and just lino everywhere else
  11. nahh mate, shed full as it is, 2 bikes + shelves all down side, draws at end, we are going to sort garden out this summer, maybe get rid of greenhouses and just have a polly tunnel length of the garden.
  12. yeah, but then it would be hard to clean, so i thought about making a frame for it to sit in, so they cant push it around
  13. i know what your saying will, but my grandad is realy into growing all his vedge and flowers ect, so we have a shed 2 large greenhouses and then the rest is all raised beds for the vedge. and my garden at home just aint any space
  14. its exterior board but i will be waterproofing it pal, and yeah they allready have a litter tray in the hutch atm

  16. we had one in our cellar a while back. and i totaly agree with what you say about their habitat vanishing, on a vast area of public land in my village, there has been proven that there are newts in several ponds, but they are still able to 'develop' it into a housing estate, bye bye little village and open feilds

  20. hi all just though i would post a few pics of the new hutch(not done just yet) and see what you think. on the bottom level there will be two doors opening out and then a run 6X4 which will be the same size of the hutch and with a gate and a lit that is hindged in the middle and at the end. sorry if i have confused you all, ill post some more pics when its done NOTE*** where the shelf is bowed, that is now fixed thanks for looking paddy

    True, but if it was detachable, then i could throw it into the washing machine to clean. I think that would be much less hassle than wiping a box out. Doesn't wood also absorb stuff? i would deffo go with wood mate. like stubby said easy to clean and would keep the cold out more than a hammock. would still use hammock as a bit of fun for them, ill be putting one in my new hutch. nice work on the hutch by the way. good luck
