well mark firstly well done again....but your coming across like you've got to prove your out doing a bit....like always adding the time e.g "out for an hour"....what does it matter if you were out for an hour or all night...31 rabbits is good going by anyones standards... now i can see why people sometimes doubt your posts...a few reasons, 31 rabbits in an hour as some have stated is a shade less than 1 every 2 minutes, probably not impossible but i would imagine that hour been very very hectic...so why would anyone want to work at such a pace ?... then you stated that you caught 31...again

just intrested in what your standerds are lucky pretty simple really.....read my signature ....now lets here yours ??? no one is saying you dont catch alot, but surely when a car and a dog are doubled up means the dog is not single handed....imo opinion this dont show a true single handed dog.... the car does help ailmac...but it's the dog that kills the quarry not the car....the same could be said about most styles of hunting for example flushing them from cover with hounds, terriers, drawing, lamping, squeeking etc....would the lurcher still be classed as a true single ha

i agree mate...you have to put it in to get it out, but even with the most carefull entering...it can and often does still end in failure.....

will do joe..i could do with a change of scenery... i've got these 2 pups for next season...hopefully they'll keep me busy... and if i really am "Lucky" i'll still have the big dog in the middle..

"GAMEDOGS" you come accross like you disbelieve that some people work there dogs single handed....a rariety in some areas i know...but not everyone prefers to double up either...

86 foxes in a season with a single dog is very good going by anyones standards.....what does that work out at 2 or 3 a week throughout the season ? i cant say i've ever done that with a single dog....but i never kept records so who knows.... i expect good numbers to be taken the way i lamp...because the odds are always in my favour....providing the dog wants them as much as i do...
