    How is it a problem if their asylum application fails and they are deported? I agree though, accepting thousands of people isn't sustainable but it's something that we have signed up for, a solution would be to amend the timeframe of asylum, instead of being granted permanent asylum we could introduce a temporary measure.

    Come on mate no need to bow out, if you don't agree with my proposals at least tell me why, I think my manifesto is a decent solution if I do say so.

    There's a difference between arriving and being accepted for asylum. If the Tories were more competent and gave a stuff, applications would be decided quicker and we wouldn't have such a massive backlog.

    I just have, stopping all foreign aide would cause a rise in people seeking asylum, agree? Accepting asylum seekers is something we signed up for, you are falling for the Tory smokescreen, blame everything on the asylum seekers and that way the downfall of our country is nothing to do with us. Instead of blaming everything on Johnny Foreigner how about some realistic solutions? Stop being afraid of taxing the wealthy. Improve childcare provision for full and part time workers. For every child that lives with a parent, increase the parents higher rate tax threshold. L

    Come on mate be realistic. So, you would turn around genuine asylum seekers even if the boat was full of women and children? If we stopped overseas aide that would contribute to places being in even more ruin and thus likely cause a bigger rise in asylum seekers. So, you would deport any immigrant who commited a crime along with their family, do family members get punished in the UK for the actions of someone else, you'd actually deport a whole family for someone stealing a bag of sweets and a pint of milk? Lol

    People will always abuse the system mate, you can't design a benefits system around these few as it will unfairly punish the genuine claimants.

    Trust me, I long for simpler times, but, it won't ever happen. There's a FB group full of historic photos of my village, some in the late 1800's. I must admit that they leave a lump in your throat, a longing for the past, seeing all the people and places long gone.

    That's it, maybe a degree wouldn't have seen me earning much more, who knows, but I guarantee I would be working less with more spare time on my hands.

    Yeah, I wish I'd had listened to advice. I did well at school, but at a certain age I changed in to Kevin & Perry, a miserable teen with a chip on my shoulder. Whenever someone tried to tell me something I just did the opposite, parents, teachers, friends. Throughout life I've never really known what I wanted to do, bit of a waste really. I earn decent money but can't say I've ever enjoyed work, lodging away, unsociable hours, weekends, wank. With a better education i would have been left with more options.

    I'd release those cheetahs and get a wild dog instead, now they can run. I watched a video the other day where two cheetahs were completely outrun by a gazelle, they barely looked faster.
