  4. hi Ian the HW100 is a cracking air rifle,i had use to own one and it was fine!the only air it lost was when i took of the cylinder to fill, and replace it.it releases a bit of air as it goes on and off any ways! is this the problem your having? if so its normal but if you would like to find out, what it is you may get better answers here http://weihrauchowners.freeforums.org/index.php?EBTX_notify=login&sid=9b86feb00c023a8b69ec51cf1b1904d5 a nice bunch of lads also now you have an air rifle,i guess we will be seeing you at the THL air gun meet http://www.thehunting
  5. hi john hows you? hope your fine! i have a set back on the meteor, with the paint i applied its a bit sticky to touch when dry,so i am going to re-spray it with some hammerite high heat paint! similar to the BBQ paint Darryl was on about ,but a bit more expensive! but the stock is all finished and butt pad too! here is the pics i have another meteor to do now its a MK2 regards davy
  6. hi bustie!! is that carbine or classic?? regards davy
  7. Hi matey Basically i was just looking at the amount of usually shot i would get out of a .177 carbine, because i do feel my classic can be a bit too long in some cases and as my 21st is coming up i thought i might change or modify my rifle so i thought of getting the carbine version. I base my classic on having 30 good shots, i know it will do more but im happy with that, so if the carbine will do 30 thats good enough for me as i might get it reg'd in the future anyway. Atb Scott hi Scott yes it will buddy also if you get it reg'd then you will get more regards
  8. hi buddy carbine version at 12ft/lbs maximum you get 60 in .177 & in .22 at a fill of 190bar classic version at 12ft/lbs maximum you get 90 in .177 & 100 in .22 at a fill of 190bar i fill to 170 and i get about 30/40 sweet point shots! it may be a bit more since i polished my hammer& rail.but to tell you the truth i dont really count em when i am out in the field as you can appreciate you dont get that many shots at your quarry. but i shall sit down a do a test for you buddy,at what range would you like it to be at? regards Davy

  13. hi i agree with Andy thats bad advise!!!!! every air gunner should own a crono,if not have access to one,i have the MK4 combro. why? because i dont want to loose my air rifles!! these have to be the actions of a serious air gunner and most of all responsible one too! here is a link to the combro http://www.chronoscopes.info/manual/index.html have a play with it and get use to it while your waiting for yours to arrive you could always use a yellow pages regards Davy

  18. Hi every one I had half a day Friday, and what better way to spend the next 16 hrs was to pick Si up on his last couple of days in the UK and meet up with Andy and take our VIP for a last treat!! Which were a zero session and some rabbit control Once all rifles were zeroed & calibrated, we done a bit of plinking!! Out to 65mts and had some fun!! With all of us hitting the 65 down to 10mts targets, but must add I was the only one to hit the 65mts three times in concession . Also with some impressive shooting, from both my apprentices Sorry no pictures “secret location”
