Well charts as you said about common ancestors I would agree with you to a certain point,for example you say kangaroos,I'd say they'd have a common ancestor with smaller marsupials,different colour etc but there ancestor was a marsupial,not an unknown animal that was macro evolving from a cow,a cat a,donkey etc Same with primates,common ancestor was a primate not another unknown animal that was macro evolving from a rabbit air a dog or whatever Same with dogs,common ancestor
