    Dogs kilt this small bitch coyote on the edge of this steep bank and the water is up pretty good after 2.5 inches of rain. It rolled down the bank and sunk fast and they were on the other side of the creek. Anyhow, put the two little uns on this beaver dam to catch it if it floated down there and my oldest girl jumps off in the water and goes to kickin around on the banks and swimmin across side to side and she found it hung up on some willow branches. She ducked down and scruffed it and pulled it up all soakin wet, hollering, "I got it daddy". These kids crack my ass up gents. They are p

Sorry to come off like a dick but thats not what I meant. The Deerhounds and Wolf hounds of old got my vote but not the ones of today. Aint nobody can convince me of that shit neither.

    Tried to ask this in a pm but the fella couldnt take no more pms it said so I'll just ask it on here. Are them 3/4 bred bull cross dogs fast enough to catch game on a regular consistent basis? Thanks for any replies. Dont want this to turn into a few fools actin like jack asses, just wanna know what yall think of their speed.

    Never been around any collie lurchers per say dotty but been around some different collie blooded type "cur" I guess and agree with you. What I think it is about a dog with collie blood is that it gives them a sense of style. They have a different way about them, its almost like they cant help but be in the right place at the right time. I know some pretty "quiet" type but extremely successful bobcat and grey fox type hunters over here that have hints of collie blood here and there in their hounds and these dogs cant help but catch game. Its almost uncanny how they just know where to be.

    duckwing, ONE THING ABOUT THE SALUKI BLOODED DOGS .... THEY ARE NATURAL KILLERS ........ SOMETIMES VERY PRIMATIVE I'm interested in that statement. I'm really into natural "BORN" kill dogs. I love watchin a kill dogs art form. My buddy Rocks used to say watchin a good dog kill a coyote was like watchin a ballet and he's right, it is. There is no "fight", just a kill.

    my dog judd' whos on the 4or5page on here'' his mother was 1/2 bull 1/4 whippet 1/4 greyhound.. breed of sam the man'' country music lines'' to a full bull... it was a hell ov a litter good dogs'' think thay made 22 to about 24.. i personly saw one ov them runing charlies' belive me these dogs had no reverse at all'' gud luck with what ever u settle on..ATB..BUSHER Sounds like you had one hell of a good dog.
