Anyone else had their Jill have a litter this late? “Lined” her in the spring and she came out season and filled out but never had any kits, came back in season so had to line her again and she dropped 6 kits on Saturday morning but has lost 2
It’s decent ground, there’s a few nice open bits and a few heathery bits that are always good for the dogs, I was out yesterday for a walk on on an old Sheil bing bit, that was hard on the dogs
I was hoping for a 50 day to start the season off lol, how’s the pup bred? Couldn’t ask for more from the bitch if I’m honest (well maybe the retrieve) marks 100%, works the cover, bullet proof with stock etc
Started off misty and ended Far too hot and the rabbits were not for bolting, ended the day with 11 bunnies and a goose . Had a couple of this years young out who worked well too so not a disaster
Said to him last week that I’d take two collars off him and pop over when I was off this week, he text me through the week to say they were sold which was fair dos
I know mate, I’m looking at a locator at the moment, she will 100% go to ground but as you mention, unsure if she will shite herself when she gets up close yet like lol but I’m confident she will go in
Listen I know it’s never going to be like the lurcher, her recall is better, she always comes back but f**k me when it’s nose down it’s 10-15 minutes easy.. pain in the arse!! Ah well!
