A Stockton police spokesman said investigators there have been in contact with Chicago...

Okay. Hang on a minute. So; Let me get this right .....

The guy in Chicago is " Dubbed the duck walk killer, because of his limp. ".

Then, we go over to Stockton, where they show us ~ purely coincidentally? ~ This:

  2. Great, isn't it? :D Four here, last night. Spotted one on the hill. I always check there. I know their little places. Fox fox now creeps out, right beside me, in the beam. Even as I'm emptying the soaked biscuits on the ground. Has to be dead sharp about claiming her chicks!

Funny. Even as I was coming back into the kitchen, I was actually thinking to myself, how great it is. Absolutely, purely wild animals. I'm probably the only human they've ever seen. But, they've learned they can have this measure of trust.

And expectation! That's a great bit, isn't it? Their happy expectation that the human will have something good for them.

Good to hear Hop's okay :good: I wonder what the kippie fox was up to? Seems an interesting time of year for them. I wonder if that one might be a vixen whose not in the running, this year, for what ever reason? (Damned if I'm one of these people who can tell at a glance, what's what)

  3. Island of the Sea Wolves.

Flix. 3 x 45. Just watched one. No rush to see the rest. Typical, old time, Dysneyesque sort of production, before all the black, trans, lesbians started showing up.

Glossy nature documentary about Vancouver, I think it is? Animals with names thing. For kids. Whatever ...

Hope he's blacklisted for any future money related job. Some hope.

Au contraire, mon chien; He'll be head hunted for a top job now, ' Because he showed he had the balls to do what had to be done.'

  5. :icon_eek: Like fukking fairy lights, it was @iworkwhippets!

I can only imagine it must be getting near their mating season? I'm figuring all these random fukkers are turning up because 'Fox fox' (The vixen) is here. Rather than word's suddenly got out that there's biscuits to be had?

Carries on at this rate? I'd might as well set up a fukking food dispenser out there. Save me messing with buckets and jugs every day

  6. What ever happened to that motor fuel made from rapeseed oil? I don't really follow this shit, because I haven't got a motor. I genuinely have no concept of all this stuff.

But, I rem, ember a photo of a big, green tank or two, at the side of a road, beside a field? What happened there?

i have also been told that electric cars are a none starter and not to buy one as hydrogen fuelled cars will soon be on the market.

Does that mean those ones ~ when they crash and burn, trapping you inside ~ will go off like a bomb?

  8. Off the top of my head, mate? Yes. Strictly, he is ?

I don't pretend to know how it all breaks down, under that Linnaeus, or what ever it is, Taxoma thing. Frogs, to me, are Ranidae and Hylidae, etc. typically. Toads are Bufo. But, yeah, it seems they Do all come together under some all encompassing taxonomic  label of " Frogs ".

A rather school; kiddish arguement might be; " Ah, but Frogs are smooth and slippery. Toads are dry and rough."

Okay. Hold that thought as I show ye my African Bullfrog (Pyxicephallus). Fukker's got skin like a blunt cheese grater. And, whilst I've never tried to handle it? I suspect it's not slippery either.

    And there we are.

  9. Actually, Sheff, I've got the full compliment of camo spay paints here ;)

No. I thought I'd leave it ~ On Katch's advice. And I did actually walk into the room and think, like; " Meh. It doesn't look so bad ... "

But, now? After four hours of glancing round and finding a lost, cold war era fukking monstrosity, like something Urban Explorers would cream over, sat there behind me? It's starting to grate ?

  10. You, The Jury .....

My new fridge just this moment arrived. It's " Silver ". I had black, before. Could only get silver now. Figured I'd spray it Olive Drab as soon as it arrived.

But, now it's here? It's not really the sort of 'silver' I'd imagined. It's not That bad, to be honest ?

So: Man Cave. Silver, or army green?
