A track dog has f**k all to do with hunting on land . A greyhound spends most of its life in a boxed channel. I've known lads peg up watching the older dogs go to ground . An like you said they'll pick that up an hear whats going on. Some will go to ground that's instinct. Im talking about getting them ready for what there up against against. You say some make it some don't ad say in the terrier game 70% will not make it. She was a great dog a chap from up north east took her for what she was bred for gun work. He was on the phone to me alot saying she was a fantastic bitch.. Last time we spoke he had a litter off her which a few lads on here had pups which are all doing well. One of them is over in Bolton with RW using it to flush hares out for him nice looking dog.
