    I have no interest in spending 20 years trying to get a decent bullmastiff when i know i can get a decent shepherd etc etc, what that has to do with making this country great i have no idea..........Should we not use saluki blood in lurchers as we should of resurected the old deerhound or wolfhound blood to be patriotic? Labs eating shepherds, of that i have no doubt, but they would have to be dead first Shepherds and rotties unstable??? I think you have just demonstrated your knowledge in one line..... Rubbish ning

    Getting a good rottie is harder to find, BUT a good one is hugely powerfull and strong. Good GSD's have good hips, breed average is 16, mine averaged 4. Must admit, Dutch shepherd is a breed i havent worked with but have seen my mates working them in Holland and France....

    Depends mate, i think all have great qualities, i think as a service dog all four are excellent, as sport dogs the GSD would top my list, in my experience they track better than the others, are easier to control than a mail or Dutch Shepherd, the rottie can suffer in the agility sections. Aa a family protection dog the mali would be bottom of my list, not for a lack of drive or ability but they require a special handler....... i would have to agree with you there but in a crisis situation i think i would prefer a dsd at my side A good one from any of those breeds would be fine by me,

    Firstly you asked if the best guard dogs are German, mostly yes, the two best in my opinion being the GSD and Rottie, however Europe is the home of the guarding breeds including the malinois(Belgian Shepherd) and Dutch Shepherd, These are the four top guarding/protection breeds in the world, and funnily enough you said the rottie and GSD were herding dogs, a "collie with big teeth". Well they are all linked to herding but does that matter on iota? Does it fcuk, to my knowledge nobody breeds decent bullmastiffs either physically or mentally.     Personally its been an honest initial post and the fact is dogs sometimes takes a dislike to a particular dog and just that dog, had the problem myself in the past. A s for the sheep, perhaps it can be sorted perhaps not, if a sensible owner can be found he will work around the dogs strengths and its weakness. The only worry with this dog would be a bell end getting it and allowing the dog to cause problems for others by killing sheep.......BUT sounds like the seller is interested in the RIGHT home...........

    Oh yes, i have a photo here, but i wont put it up of stabba eating his take away, it took two large plates a side plate and an industrial tray to carry it. At another meal he also ate 12 tacos, even i could only manage 4, this was then followed by a tub of Ben and Jerrys............

    I saw some of the film, turned it off after 40 minutes, despite Tom Hardy being an excellent actor i thought the film was shite, not quite sure what he has done worthy of a film?

    Aye vixen, good luck to the girl with her new career, but i think running dog treatment that can't be sorted by an owner should be left to the professionals with the professional diagnostic machinery...........

    Yes ive been in your van when the dogs are following, you need to focus on not running them over instead of stroking your passengers inner thigh!!!!
