Speedlamper, as I said earlier, I wasn't after a debate of the morality of MMA, just opinions on the forthcoming fights

Should be interesting anyway fellas The UFC has sme good bouts booked for future events. Liddell/Jardine, Franklin/Silva, Henderson/Jackson and even Slyvia/Vera which could dictate which direction Tims carrer goes.....
  4. Electricity, you jammy sod. We can only dream of that in Lincolnshire, i'll stick to my candles
  5. I don't think you have come across as arrogant Its a good thread, I just thought that there were too many variables. Last season I had a go at lamping a shepherd, he needs rabbits that are feeding 100 yards from safety and i'd be happy with 1/10 . Although the other night he ran a "shadow" during exercise and hit a hedgehog, funnily enough he didn't retreive it

Hi Jay, The Couture/Gonzaga fight reminds me a little of the fight Couture had with Ricco Rodriguz, they are both similar size/build and specialised in BJJ, Randy was dominating Ricco until the size and fatigue became a factor then Ricco pulled victory from the jaws of defeat I believe Randy hired a nutritionist to increase in conditioning and endurance, as you say both Couture and St Pierre and gentlemen and excellent ambasadors for MMA. I think anyone listening to these guys speak would realise MMA fighters are not neanderthal monsters but competitive dedicated athletes Whens your

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XLkqQwIT2k I think this guy could be something special in MMA. I saw him on WWF wrestling one night several years ago (no I don't normally watch that rubbish) and thought he had something special and would like to see him in MMA. He has a legitimate wrestling background and with correct training I think could develop into a monster....

I'm not getting into a detailed debate about the rights and wrongs of whats broadcast on tv, I was just interested in hearing peoples opinions on the results, not the morality. I enjoy MMA and as a kid I also enjoyed watching saturday lunchtime wrestling and then as an older child the WWF, I also did competed in the odd judo competition as a boy and no I didn't grow up wanting to piledrive a granny through a glass table. The UFC has been around since 93" and other MMA organisations a lot longer without a number of incidents related to it. As for children watching unsuitable tv...I wouldn'

Surely your not linking a controlled sport with violence in society. Surely if you hope they both lose you are advocating violence

Just wondered about peoples predictions for the two main bouts at this weekends event. Couture (15 wins.8 losses) vs Gonzaga (8 wins. 1 loss) My opinion is that Randy will be better on the feet and also has a great ground and pound although Gonzaga has a Jiu Jitsu background. Although Randy is giving away some size (again), I think he will remain the champ. Randys list of opponents is a whos who of MMA and I don't believe Gonzaga has faced an opponent of Coutures quality. St Pierre (13 wins.2 losses)( vs Koscheck (9 wins and 1 loss) This could be the fight of the night, I thi
  12. Reading that and other news stories lately really makes me wonder what makes these people tick
  13. I'm on my way, Glenmorangie ok?
  14. Nothing wrong with feeding the bulk of the meaty bones as chicken carcases Personally I like to add some mince to the deit, some dogs need the veg to be "hidden" in the mince.
  15. You could hand that permission over to me and i'll take care of it for you :tongue4:
  16. Do you mean just the carcases or raw in general? I feed a mix of approx 60% raw meaty bones and 40% mince with some veg. The raw meaty bones consist of mainly chicken wings with lamb ribcages, chicken carcases and the occasional pigs trotters. I can't see a problem with the bulk of the meat diet coming from chicken carcases. Good luck
  17. Why? Ah, I've just seen your emmigrating to Suffolk. They are like the posh carrot crunching neighbours of Norfolk.....
  18. Yep, I always throw in a bottle of whiskey, although i'm not sure why we always assume its there chosen tipple Just be polite and good luck

They get sunlight enough through the mesh panels. If you put corregated sheets on the roof they can heat the run during hot weather, can crack in heavy wind and there bloody noisy in the rain
  20. Surely this would depend on conditions, how far out they are feeding and perhaps most importantly the terrain? I'm sure this would alter the success ratio somewhat?
