  1. do your homework before going into the coin dealer, don't just walk in and say "what'll you give me for this?" They'll take advantage of you in a heartbeat. Congrats!

  3. you could always move to France, it's well cheap there
  4. it's easier said than done, but worth it in the long run. I've stopped going to WalMart and other large supermarkets, although I've not completely kicked the habit due to some things just being too expensive (double the price and up for OTC medications, etc). It has made my shopping easier as I'm not standing in line for ages and I tend to get all I need in one trip a week rather than going 2-4 times in a week. Less impulse buying too.
  5. Thanks guys, we'll post some mockups when we get them finished. Still open to more ideas ... any freelance artists we'd appreciate some help!
  6. Here's the deal ... Kye is going to the ISCF World Classic Championship in May in Iowa, it is the highest level an amateur can attain before jumping into the pros. This is the UFC level for the "little guys". He'll be going professional after he wins the belt. He will be fighting 3 times as there are only 8 guys picked for each weight, he'll be fighting Saturday morning, Saturday evening, and Sunday evening. It is going to cost us a fortune to go (well to us it is a fortune,) about $1,500 to pay for hotel/food/travel for he, his trainer, 2 corners and me to go for the 3 day event. W
  7. Sorry I should have clarified that I am looking for something hunting dog related, not just dog related. Something that the typical working dog owner would wear on a tshirt ....
  8. come on guys, help me out here, this isn't for me it's for Kye  I hate to use the stereotypical staff but I will if I must
  9. lol perfect suggestions guys, thanks seriously I do need help even some rough ones to look at and figure out something
  10. do two or three different groups .... one quarry related, one general wildlife related, and one for your "tool" of choice (dog/gun/bird/pole/ferret etc).
  11. I am looking for a picture of something typically British, but also recognizable as well as something that will transfer easily for a TShirt design. I'm thinking dog related ... Stabs I'm sure you'll have something perfect, but I'm looking for all ideas please!
  12. no we don't know how to get stuff off of DVD's and cameras onto YouTube, but when we do figure it out we'll post some links here. Now he needs to decide if he wants to take a couple of fights between now and the World Championships in May for more ring experience, or if he wants to soley concentrate on training for the Worlds ... he'll decide in the next few days.
  13. Here's brightened and cropped pics ... he's the one in the white trimmed black shorts, he used to wear the long board shorts that most guys do but your opponent can grab them so he thought he'd try these out.
  14. LOL yeah true Actually it was amazing how hard it was for Kye to get a job as he didn't have the proper documents for a while, people often would say "it would be easier if you were Mexican"

    Bad News

    best wishes ...
  16. yeah that was funny, no good getting caught by a couple of dam guards (haha get it, DAM guards haha never mind) Nothing was worse than trying to scrub off puddles of frozen blood that had dripped down from the roof and sides, and then having to deal with the "odor" when it was 110 outside That truck never let us down, never got us stuck or broke down or caught by anyone when we weren't supposed to be somewhere ... the Yukon on the other hand has almost dropped us in the shit a few times! I loved that truck .... I can't believe he crashed it! :realmad: but I'm so thankful h
  17. To those who've been lucky enough to drive and hunt and lamp out of this vehicle that had almost 300k miles on it and thousands of head of game in and on it, bow your head in rememberance ... And I didn't total it (so no women driver comments please!) Kye did it on the ice 4 days ago (broke a telephone pole in half), couldn't walk the next morning, went to treatment for a couple of days and then went on to win the ISCF Missouri State Lightweight Title last night via Heel Hook again in the second.
  18. That is actually a decent sized one, probably weighed 13 pounds? The bitch is only 25 inches as well, she's not that big
  19. here's a live one Slag ran off and picked up while roading the other night, that bitch can find anything around, day or night. He was released unharmed after the pick, she just likes to bring things back to us and brag to the other dogs about how good she is, I'm sure she throws in a few fingers here and there They are not really a problem for farmers unless they have cattle or horses (they spread lepto & brucellosis) and will bed down anywhere, inside engine compartments, sheds, chimneys etc. I want one as a pet but Kye says no
