    IMO Canon make a better body but Nikon make the better lens, these differences are small but if your a novice i wouldnt be spending 700 on a body as it really isnt needed. I brought a Canon 1000d and still havnt learned its full value, i can buy lenses for this that can last me a life time and be used on any camera in the future. As said the body it the cheap bit, its the lenses that are expensive. But as JD has mentioned the 50d is a great camera for the pro.

    Right heres a chance to see if my idea works or not, ive been told if you have a magnetic strip brought from any car shop and hang it off the back of the moter (surley youve seen them) they hang just under the car almost touching the floor? These are supposed to stop travel sickness in dogs (somthing to do with the static) its supposed to effect the dogs teeth to the point they drool and then be sick. For a couple of quid its gotta be worth a try. My pups get over it after a few short trips. Keep us posted on this one ATB Doug

    two a week, egg shell included, ive got 30 hens so all the egg shells get bake and ground and i give it back to the hens but i will grind some to powder and add to the raw meat also.

    The Saluki handle bar ears will always be prone to infection. Get your vet to give you a prescription for canuaral. If it keeps reacuring then you need to syringe the ears, with warm water (flushing) any good vet will teach you how to do this. I have a bitch that gets ear infections a lot due to her twin bro licking her ears all the time, the first signs are that she starts knawing on her paws.
