i doubt they make as much as they cost,the palaces good certainly be used for a better purpose considering most rooms like unused yet cost plenty, some may be happy to pay for all the elite as they think they are, tug the forelock and brown nose them, but plenty others see them as leeches that wont let go of a artery

was it the case of a better handler/keeper been the difference between two dogs as in my dog is more talented but he gets his a little bit better at the right time and beats me.

great thread for some of us that know nothing about this game, has certainly made me think about lots of aspects of it from matings to the work up to the last few hours.

ive heard of a keep but didnt know how intensive it was for such a spell, had terriers and greyhounds all my life and had them in top nick for what they did but neither had to have what a gamedog has to have, when you consider a terrier can work day after day as long as its not reckless and greyhounds can have two runs in seven days and getting them ready is quite different.

thanks gnasher, although i was never involved in the game i have often admired the animals when in a fit condition, plus i didnt know so much work devotion and cost went into the sport plus the keeper would have to be pretty sharp in knowledge to get the best on a given day.

now i know nothing about this, but how long does it take to get a dog spot on, how many matches does it take to be a champ and how many in a dogs life would it normally have, is their an age to start and stop a dogs career.gnash what weight would that bitch be.
