    Got my first saluki x off tom . He put the dog postie . A local dog up in wick . Direct out of tor o dartmoor. Effectively 3/4 grehound. His greys were from coursing stock . The bitch I got was electric but could stay for a month . There wasn't a word from that man that didn't come true about that pup . He was waiting to have a triple bypass at the time . Could you pass on my well wishes to him and tell him its benny from Glasgow that sends him my thanks ?

    I have honestly seen this dog carry out pest control work . Hes past his best but still some dog imo. Jaw power is unreal . And a real good nose . Just my twopence worth

    Can still see the pit towels and soap lol . My auld man got offered the canaries when cardowan colliery was closing . He really wanted them . But my maws lungs were gubbed and couldn't handle them . ?

    Finding it hard to find breaks in the weather and places runable . 4 weeks of near on continuous frost/ice . But just got to get creative.

    Rhvd is the main evil on rabbit populations. Add all the methods of control, especially summer hunting. Kill a doe , is she feeding young/ carrying young . And if a few survive and a new population is started, it's more susceptible to disease etc . They actually do need a hand , so instead of wiping everything out. Try replenishing small pockets near houses and public parks where no one can get at them as the snowflakes will protect them . Fingers crossed they branch out

    Sad news that blackneck. Bob go back to same land and put down a few cage traps put a couple of old hats or t shirts in them and bit of liver . Got my best ferret back after 8 days

    100% . His hoose was up the track right behind the distillery. Was only me and some pals that went there from the milk . Does the name basher ring a bell. And what bit of the canal? . I was always out there as a lad . The fields were great for a run behind the possil loch . But hares crossed the balmore rd . Family from milton?
