  1. She was a wide one mate Back to the same lake next April, its only 3 1/2 hours from Calais Sweet would love to give it a bash abroad for some carping, Definitely need to get a passport sorted. You really should mate i have done about 11 weeks out there over the years, i make sure i go at least once a year. if you do decide, let me know and i will point you in the right direction and get you a good deal Thanks mate that would be great.

You do get what you pay for for bait runners i stick with shimano and pit reels always daiwa although my mate was trying to convince me that the new wychwood pit reels are excellent value for money, i just stick with what i know the tried and tested Yep emcast`s all the way. I've got the Emcast Evo 5500 on my beachcaster, best reel I've ever owned. They certainly are mate i have a pair of emcast Advanced`s on the carp rods and nothing beats em.

  17. As matey said watchout on some of the cheap ones its not worth it, i bought the ESP pva then just buy the 5m refills for less than £3 (ESP refills that is).

  19. Its got me thinking of getting a new bivvy and its a choice between the nash double top professional(mk2) or the trakker areo lite. I must admit im not a keen fan of them brolly systems. Wilf what are them purple/red rods you got in the picture.

  21. Almost happened to me once but with a 35gram weight. I was fishing a small lake casted to far side straight into some bushes after a few hard twitches and tugs it finally come free, only to come shooting past me at eye level and missing my head by a few inches i actually felt the wind pressure when it went past my noggin. Quite lucky really as i could of lost eye learn my lesson now though.

Nice, how long was you playing for mate about twenty minutes ish you are ready for a beer when you are done just depends on the flow at the time sometimes you need twenty ounce to hold bottom on a good day between four of us we had up to thirty four fish from thirty ish up to 186 pound once they are on the feed as long as you keep pumpin it in they will keep feeding and we have yet to catch the same one twice well not knowingley bnest fishing i have done it becomes just as addictive as lamping lol Twenty ounce f*****g hell Thats a cracking haul of fish too.
