I agree with ya tyla, far to quick to judge people. sounds like sum of you lot sayin you don't get wild ferrets is the one's who are talkin rubbish. no offense but it seems kinda obvious that if something live's out in the wild long enough without human contact they're gonnna become less and less tame until it becomes wild? lol

Got a beatin session tomorrow, so sumat might prevail from that, got 1 permission for ferretin, shooting, snarin, whteva but its out on other side of mickleover and when i'm the onli 1 in the family interested in that sort of thing, i rarely get a lift(went down ith the lad who owns t yesterday atually, missed a few shots but got this beauty)
  8. the amount of letdowns i've had on permissions , thinkin bout doin it meself, can't be that hard. they hardly got security guards and cctv watching 60 acres of land have they?!
  9. hi everyone, i'm looking for some hunting permission for Ferreting and air rifle(after being let down numerous times ) in the swadlincote/burton on trent/hartsorn area. about a 10 mile radius but any reasonable sugestions. I am 16, listen and obey well, respectful (NOT YOUR STEREOTYPED 16 YR OLD!) permission preferably sport orientated but pest control is fine also. any suggestions at all would be great to be honest, even as a hunting/ferreting partner?! thanks to all Matthew Cork.
  10. soz worded it a bit wrong there. made myself sound like a tw*t! what i really wanted was specifics like can u lure rabbits out wit bait? r if you've shot a few, are they any good for decoying or does it just scare em off? soz peeps. my bad on that. thnax Corky (p.s tryin to change ma name cuz it makes people think am new to the whole lot, ah already know alot about field craft, stalkin, etc. so its just the specifics and tips really)

Hi warrick, Don't know how far NW but there's a farmers market called melton mowbry on every tuesday. they sell all sorts of things. they also have a fur and feather market and auction off ferrets. thats where i got my two from. Prices vary from 50p to £5 with varying age's, gender and pattern. well worth a look matey. Corky
