  2. And when your all sorted i would personnaly recomend a .22lr for the purpose of ground game and .223 for ground game and foxes. also if you put a FAC air rifle down, it gives you an extra space. Therefor you can either get one if you decide OR merely swap it out for another calibre at a later stage for no fee. atb Matt
  3. Hi sporting shooter, are you actually shooting in wales or somewhere else,(just be broad) only reason i ask is that that fox has got a lovely thick dark red coat on it, i shoot in the midlands and their alot shorter in hair and less red?! atb corky

I work at a gun shop in burton. have tried both the biakal stealth and personnally have a single barrel belgian .410 with 8inch hushpower moderator on the end. i thought mine was quiet until i heard one of the stealths. very quiet dead easy to use and to clean. well worth the money. you looking roughly 350 new
  5. have had four litters over 2 years, never had a still born, never had any eaten.
  6. i am in a similar situation using the dufus traps. Didn't get many hints from here but that is tottaly understandable you mole trappers as it is a job and if every man and his dog could do it it wouldn't be a profession. i got a few tips from a pest contrller friend but just get out and experiment. personally, i found setting a trap between two molehills work and using the mole hill soil(soft and fine) works well to block out light and air but still spring effectively. i have caught 3 in a week so far and had one set off. i have 5 traps and am doing it for a bit off permission also.

  15. guys, i have said that this ferret whether ferral or past pet was in no mood to chat!?!?!? No it wasn't any danger to me or my ferret(but neither are foxes, we still shoot those) once he had been removed. but this is pest control. if the rabbits are causeing the guy problems digging around the chicken pens, what the hell is a wild(and i'm telling you now it was) ferret going to do to them?!?! i appreciate the identification factor but what else would it be. its not like the glowing eyes in the dark case?! Its front half was out of the whole as said in original post, and the point is ferret/fe

  18. i'll be honest with you guys. the old farmers land i was on laughed at me when i sed wild ferret. he said that is a mink. so him being older and wiser i believed. but the all black part was my argument. thanks for the correction, but you know what farmers are like. lol, no changing their minds. And i might add, this fecker was not asking to be rehomed, he might aswell have asked for salt with his fresh fingers(had i put my hand down)
  19. gotta be honest jazz he was quite for about 5 minutes until he got the scent of a rabbit and clamped onto its backend! fine now though apart from a couble of ticks which are no issue
  20. HI all thought you'd appreciate hearing about this. was out the other day doing a bit of pest control ferreting in a 6 foot wide headge and the shotgun, took the hob because he's great for coming back [bANNED TEXT] you call him and bushing like a terrier too! anyway, he went down bolted a rabbit and shotgun took it. goes down another in same warren, and he's down there for 5 min or so, so out comes MK3 get within 4 foot and can hear this squelin and hissin. next thing my ferret is dragging something out the hole(presumed rabbit as he does this often) anyway just about to reach in when he lets
