  4. sounds like a good deal, keep us updated with them pics matey atb Corky
  5. to be honest matey, it would probably be a couple more weeks before you see any difference but the safest option is not to work her untill you know she is not. as for splitting them, to be honest its not always neccesary. i kept my two jills together and they just nursed each others kits. atb corky
  6. Make sure you turn the 3M collars on Check your mark regulal as you dig as many times, the ferret will move on when hearing the noise It pays to leave the nets ona waren that you've just done if your doing the one next door. many times the rabbits have slipped the nets and backnetted in the first warren. If trying to call the ferrets out, squeek and bang with the flat of your hand on a hole entrance ALWAYS make sure you handle your ferrets regularly when young as it pays divenends later. ignore anyone who says ferrets that dont bite dont work and that your ferrets need to be
  7. all i can say matey is..........................................WOW............and.......will you be my friend. lol Nice one and nice ferret too. cant beat a commited ferret, one of my jills stayed down with 4 rabbits all nite long(got her out the next day with the located hob, anddug). she was pretty scratched in the morning and missing alot of fur, but she was fine after a bit of TLC. Nice one Matt
  8. lol, people know about trammel nets but we've commented so many times that its boring. search trammel nets in the search bar, plenty there regards corky

  16. hi all, just checked in on the fezza's this morning and noticed my jills nipples were very red and she was smaller! peeked in as she was feeding and low and behold BABY FEZZA'S! estimated maybe 6?! and yes i know, leave them be for a week or so! but WOOOOO-HOOOOOO all the best corky
  17. i'd get all you can out of it without breaking the law to be honest. more power means slightly better range and a longer killing distance.
  18. seen a couple around barton-under-needwood way where i shoot and ferret
  19. you might not be clearing the holes well enough then mate. if you make sure there are no twigs, sticks etc then you shouldn't have to much of a problem! am sure others would agree with me.

  22. Hi all, as some of you may know i recently gave a hob(now known as jack the ripper) a new home and a fresh start. well, i've upped my troop by one but she's gonna need some TLC. she has been very badly treated(ie thrown and beaten if she bit) and was covered in tics resulting in massive hair loss, not to mention malnutrition. i've ridden her of the ticks and flea's and am now trying to feed her uP. will keep you all posted all the best Corky
