    Might be a bit muscle bond/heavy in muscle after running behind the van, Id try and run the dog light and see if that makes and difference with his work rate/Recovery rate. Iv seen dogs that were heavy run/turn shit then seen the same dog after a couple of months work a lot lighter (too the point people would think it need a good feed that didn't know about working dogs), Dog that are heavy with muscle tend too gas quicker anyway just the amount of energy that's used in such short runs on rabbit, ( I'm sure one of the other on here will word what i'm trying too say a lot better than me

    i,d have to agree with steve on this one,who,s to know who,s copying who, theres not a lot of design difference apart from a slightly differnt shape,and i,m sure all those shapes have been done at sometime over the years by someone Id agree with that, Iam all for a man trying too earn a few ££ for a bit of beer money in his spare time, I think these day most designs would have been done at some point over the years so who really is copying who? , I think what your trying to say is people are selling similar cattys to yours with the same bands for cheaper and its effecting

    Most 3/4 breds iv seen have been burners (Not all before everyone jumps on the band wagon) , But not after a few sharp bursts on rabbits, Iam on about the longer runs on hare deer (Pre ban) after a few runs on the bigger open crop land round me, I think any X's when fit is good for 10 rabbits imho.... Maybe next year run him on a few a few times aweek just to help build his recovery rate up after each run,

    Same here, One thing iv realised tho is every mans wonder dog is different be it coursing (Preban) lamping, ferreing,mooching, or the terrier lads work , What one would class as a machine is another average lurcher that he would expect any in any of his old mutts , We all strive for better dogs if were honest, alright dogs maybe not the right word maybe lets say better strike,pace,wind, working brain ect ect even in our legends, As the Auld saying goes there's ALWAYS one better, As Long as your happy and freezers full then he's doing his job.....

    Congratulations... Just had my 4th on Thursday at 5:50pm and he also is a bit on the small side at 4lb 5oz so he is still in as well, Atb for the future to yous all.........

    Thanks for the appreciation, I only have a pair! I only stock the very best of asil's tbh it's very HARD finding the right bird in the UK! So I get them imported. Ya you right its hard finding any real decent stuff without imports or direct stuff out of real imports, Far to much shit been bred these days that should be culled not bred off imho, Have you bred out the pair? And anything worth mentioning came out of them?

    Iv had/have both no real prefrence really, But too be honest iam starting too prefere dogs down too one and only reason SEASONS only time my dogs are off is when injuryed, But my bitch comes in at august and end of january beginning of feb so not at great tims really,
