    A bred litter earlier in year well patterdale x staff out handy parents both working and from top lines gave pups to mate as was only 3 n one died bout 7 months now and ended up huge don't no how as staff bitch is only 21 lbs fit

    He's just young 13 months doing well got sister aswel but she's took to wheaten both keen and had plenty big stuff

    One is 7/8ths as ardinglas to doxhope ..doxhope have dash lurcher in line he's 35 and be 3/4 now he's busy eating things when other dogs are hunting no anybody instinct at all other is half brother deerhound x wheaten xgreyhound he's a big dog at about 30inches and is a handy dog when suits him but find very sulky and tempremental

    Patterdale types wernt about years ago ad say newish breed about 20 years old always been black fell terriers and slape coated fells but the bully types today are just hybrids of fell and staffs but some make handydogs I'm a recent convert after 40 years of fells borders n russells suit me fine pats do summit with bit of leg and not barrel chested same for al breeds working terriers but some monsters in USA 30pounds n shit not work up in north england those so don't no where came from

    Plenty lines working fell lakey types up north but very few older lines of staff left even dying out in Ireland now just kc type staffs about now no drive or stamina in them very few redbull o.flynne or any trial working lines left many claim to have them tho

    Yours three quarter greyhound ? Or three quarter deerhound ? Maybe u got lucky 21 inch wheaten x greyhound bitches doing job for me now big floppy deerys just pets gave up maybe half decent to some but not up to my standered maybe ones saw as kid n liked look of were keener types 40 years ago hope you have good season mate

    I'd always liked look of them myself but kept other types and after years decided to try for myself and been disappointed to say least but not one to chop n change n send into cycle of dogs been passed round so got large pets

    O I've gone back to my old types n doing well with them deerys just a pet now 35 inches of pet other is deerhound x wheaten grey 30inches handy ish dog on big stuff

    Does anybody breed work deerhound crosses I got two but not very good to tell truth but not out working stuff I thought were but just from dog peddler/puppy farmer didn't no at time got them be good hear if anybody has decent ones and works them and how they do in field

    A would think two decent steady away types be enuff for most people doing fair bit rather have two good ones than ten that don't see enuff to be good

    Don't think anybody works Glenn's or ever did much what do you mean as in work ?Irish strong dogs are far to big at 40pounds plus to do earthwork and weren't ever used or bred for it are you wanting dog for trials ?
