    I'm not the heaviest so the wind does blow me about more? That rabbits neck took some stretching, thought it was going to end up as long as me? The hare looking me straight in the eye as I placed the barrel on its forehead and me saying sorry mate before I pulled the trigger?

    Well today was a better day, 12 shots taken, 3 pigeon and a crow. Had plenty coming in but me being me missed and sometimes just a bit slow of the mark. I've left the hide up for tomorrow and took the advice of philpot by putting guide ropes on it. Good job I did as its been a windy today and the ropes done just the job of keeping my hide in place. All in all a nice day to have been out. Lets hope I can bag a few more tomorrow?

    Definitely flocked decoys, I haven’t got full body as of yet, but have 6 flocked shells Might even try an empty McDonald’s bag with a few left over fries, crows seem to love McDonalds ?

    Read something before saying about leaving the hide. Might give this a go next weekend. Will see if I can get the hide set up on Friday. Crows are certainly not stupid that’s for sure.

    Take some gutting those hares? Think the next thing for those rape fields is and early morning / break of dawn to get on top of them. It’s always good to see the deer, see them every time. Might have a word with the farmer to see if I can take some? Need to get hold of a butcher first though. ( note to oneself ring mate to chase up butcher ). Anyone know a butcher in Teesside that will do game etc?

    I’d feel a bit cheeky asking him to pay for cartridges, the £5s will go towards them, that’s when I finally start hitting some lol. All a learning curve at the moment but hopefully my perseverance will pay off?

    So many questions, have you studied interrogation techniques in the past? 1. The farmer pays £5 a crow up to 10 crows at the moment to hang in the fields. 2. Not the best camera angle had plenty of room. 3. This is a normally a flight line but the birds were on next doors land due to the weather. But thought I’d sit for a bit to see if I could bring them in. 4. Packet up and had a wonder and that’s when I shot the crow. Its all been a learning curve at the moment as I don’t t get time during the day to study any more flight lines or habits. Plus I did know where they
