  9. B&Q had mole deterrants on sale in Northern Ireland for a Number of months at £15 each. these devices send vibrations through the soil annoying the moles so they move else where... Problem is there are no moles in Northern Ireland! All deterrants have now been removed from the shelves and are no longer for sale. but i think this is quite a funny story. B&Q tried to hide this blunder by saying that it was a mistake in orders which caused them to have them over here haha
  10. Hello all at the minute im using CRAP shop bought nets for ferreting as i have up to january been going out with my mate who had the equipment. so i just used my ferrets in combination with his nets. So in Febuary i bought 10 nets out of a sport and tackle shop and went out near the end of march to try them out. These nets are really light and Sh1t!!!!!! and i mean the knots at the top where they join the ring broke within about 5 mins and the rings came off. i went to the tackle shop and got my money back. So at the minute im looking to buy Quality nets from other ferreters , ive had a lo

I didnt think about the wild polecats but im still not going to risk her being with rats, its not worth hasstle incase she meets a mummy rat,not nice! wouldnt risk a good working ferret. il just have to make sure i lock their cages properly in future. What i will do though i

Know what ditch youve just triggered a thought in my head there have been a few sitings off Mr rat in the past months, do you think my jill will be ok as she is still in season and if there are rats could she be easily infected by the disease ridden b*stards? and she didnt mind the hole in her garden as lets just say its not the most well kept garden. Perfect haven for rats! food for birds and since building work has started they could have disrupted where the rats where living before. sounds to me like theres rats , where would i be without you Ditch? best go inform the woman she
  16. well on sunday i got a phone call at 8 in the morning to say my ferret where in the next door neighbours garden but when i got there i couldnt see anything so i checked the cage and sure enough my little jill had disapeared so i was worried trying to run and find her. i went to my mates house to try and get him to help me. we went up and looked about and still nothing, the woman had decking down and there where big gaps in the fence where the fert could get in under her decking but we couldnt see anything when we looked, this had me kind of worried, as i have never lost a ferret. well

  19. i did mate but to be honest i dont think hes all there and i think hes mentally challenged in a way, but i ended up just giving it the jab in the back of the neck under the skin and squirted it in quite fast because she was hurting as i squeezed it in slow. that should hopefully bring her out of season within a fortnight and she can re-unite with her Hob friend
  20. I need help My local vet is willing to give me the actual stuff for the jab about £5.00 but is trying to charge me £25.00 for a consultation fee of which i dont want to pay. he is willing to sell me just the hormonal injection on its own and i was wondering if it is better to kind of put it in slow and inject slow or in fast inject fast, i want to cause the least amount of discomfort to her as possible any tips? and i need tips asap as i am just about to go down to the vets now Y.I.S Danny
