  2. yes true,if you keep culling them you will find you have to travel further and further afield to find them,so if you give shooting a break during their breeding season then you get more results when the season starts,

NO SHOOTING SEASON ON THEM HERE IN IRELAND,...BUT WITH ME I STOP SHOOTING THEM DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS AS IT GIVES THEM A CHANCE TO BREED,.........AND AS YOU ALL KNOW LADS AND LADIES IF YOU KILL EVERYTHING THERE WILL BE NOTHING LEFT TO SHOOT,...IF THE ODD ONE IS CAUSING A PROBLEM DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS THEN THE TERRIERS OR THE RIFLE COME OUT OFF THEIR HOLIDAYS.

  5. Got this one while i was out this morning for a few rabbits with my BRNO .22.a good size dog fox,at 90 yards,with a subsonic.a nice clean head shot.

Hello all,just started back shooting and a nice day out for myself with my Brno .223 and my son [14] and a Brno .22. not a bad day out,two foxes for myself,one at 160 yards and one a little under 100yards, my son shot one at yards with his .22 using a subsonic, not very big foxes but three foxes all the same,so a good start to the season. Wanted to say aswell that the hollow point 50 gr made shit of the foxes head at a hundred yards, and the other one it left a very big hole in him.

  13. Thanks all for your reply,s,i have got hold of a couple of hundred 50gr hollow point American eagle so i will keep at these for a while,i have shot a couple of foxes in the past week with these 50gr and i now see the damage they do, Bullx.
  14. A MAN has admitted hare coursing in Therfield, near Royston, in what is thought to be the first conviction of its kind in the UK. Jimmy Cash, 45, was spotted poaching by police on Sandon Road in the village, at around 8am on October 21 last year. Royston’s rural officer, Pc Paul Marina, was one of those on the scene. Meat is the best thing to give your dog,if he eats it,i get chicken carcess,s and turkey carcess,s for mine,have backs on them like horses.only thing now is i have to take a few pounds of them and get them ready for the season ahead,but remember,its easier to take it off than put it on, Bullx.
  20. Yes Scent i have seen that video,bit much i thought,a few lakeys and russels and patterdales,and not forgetting the lurchers and the staffs,not a video to buy on ebay i must say,the one i seen had two staffs in it,a black and white one and a fawn and white.

Great reading there lads,i realy enjoyed reading all the posts,some were great and some were not,there were a great few dogs around in the 80s and a few good men thet bred them,but you all talk about Philip King but you dont mension the likes of Jim Young,Peter Byrne,Tom Clarke but to name a few that played a great part it bringing kings name onto the coursing world,
