Atb si I hope so Si, Jimmy and Sean taught me a lot this weekend which was excellent. I'm looking forward to honing my grouping, I love the R10, however I did enjoy shooting Jimmy's ?s carbine ??
  4. Well Jimmy and Sean I got me cylinder filled today so I will be at the range this evening getting my eye in. I've read a little bit more about eye relief and think I understand what you were saying on Sunday Sean. Hopefully next time at Swarland I will shooting pellet on pellet ??????

  10. Evening everyone, today's question, what is meant by tuning? Is it something I need to/should do to my R10? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you??

  12. If you get a chance to read some of the Army fieldcraft books there's some tips and pointers for judging distance. It'll explain things like how looking into the Sun or up hill will effect your perception of distance. A good little book is the sniper pocket book ??

  15. Had a great day today at Swarland, even though the weather took a bit of a turn. I just want to say a massive thanks to Jimmy & Shaun for taking time out of their shooting to take me back to school. I've started on a massive learning curve but can't wait. I've zeroed my R10 up 50 meters and have also shot several different rifle types, a brilliant learning day. I just want to say thank you again fellas, it was great to meet you both and great shooting as well ??????????

  19. I'm looking forward to shooting from greater distances, I enjoy really concentrating trying to get the smallest group going. What I did notice was the slightest of movements sends the .22 pellet everywhere. Completely different ball game to what I've done previously but great fun, now looking forward to meeting up with others and picking up some good tips and knowledge ??
  20. Cheers Jon, it felt good to be shooting again. The big difference I found was having to shoot with safety glasses and my eye site been crap ?
  21. I paid less than £20, the zips are good quality as well as clips etc and it's in old style DPM Pattern
  22. There's some reasonable one on Amazon, I received one today. It has an extension if required, can be worn on the back with two straps and has enough pockets and compartments to forget where you've put everything
