    I have a few good friends who work on the close protection circuit overseas etc., anyway one of them flew out to Abu Dhabi to do some security consultancy work. I thought you jammy get on a swan but he assured me it was no such thing. Anyhooo I got a message from him today saying he was working his balls off at an exhibition event, and then sent some pictures. For those of you who enjoy weapons a little to much you may need to grab some tissues now!

    It's a Rapid 7 mk1 Donny, and there's no seal in the filler valve at all mate. I can't get any air in at all ?

    I've tried a quick blast and it's done nothing, all I can see on the buddy bottle is a ball bearing or metal like stud in the end of cylinder. Do the fill valves have a seal in? I've just unscrewed what looks like a washer with a seal in it, off the top of the filler valve?

    In the buddy bottle? Or do you mean the seal around the neck of the valve, as I've changed that one already??

    Great write up Jimmy and yet another brilliant night, thank you to you and LH. As Jimmy said LH showed me the ropes last night, wise beyond his years! I haven't got the words to do the lad justice! For the fellas on here that haven't met him or know him he's a real credit to his Grandad and shows that the youth of today can be great, respectful.     Some advice please, "oh mighty gurus of the air rifle" ??. I took the air cylinder off the Rapid today to clean and grease the seals etc.. The cylinder seemed to be really tight so I was really cautious with the turns as it was the first time I'd filled it. However when the seal did finally open the cylinder just emptied straight away, even though I was really cautious. So airing on the side of caution I fitted a new cylinder seal, I connected the air bottle eased the air on and it's leaking out of the valve faster than I can get it!
