  1. l.o.l only seen that but thats my mate he needs help Haha good answer, looks like you lads get some good sport over there do you know of the Kilkenny hunt?
  2. Well done lads keep up the good work! Couldn't help but notice the shit United hat though
  3. Iv Hurd good things about using a well sourced greyhound bitch
  4. Here's fellas I'm in no rush for the pups hoping to do a mating Feb time don't like winter pups so I'd like them to arrive about April time
  5. I can give you a number of a man I know he's big into his spaniels he has his own line now registered with the kennel club it's called teighnsedge spaniels or something made up of mainly Ian ipenshaws springers, I'm sure he will be having a litter, inbox me if I can help
  6. Yeah exactly mate that's the main thing though sources the right bitch,
  7. Cheers mate I'll be keeping everyone updated on the mating and the pups
  8. He's a very heavy type 3/8 5/8 if anyone was to see him you'd think he was a half cross iv seen pups work out of a racier 3/8 5/8 to a straight greyhound bitch before and they turned out unreal
  9. Like I said I know what your saying but it's not as easy as that I think by adding a greyhound bitch it will add fire and speed not that he needs fire, but I'm hoping I can take the pup out when it's older and slip on things that are usually a waste of time slipping him on, I know the pup dog or bitch wouldn't do the damage to certain things like he can but I think by adding the greyhound the pups variety of game will be much wider
  10. Yeah exactly from previous experience breeding in expecting the pups or some of the pups to still end up with good bully heads
  11. So whenever I cook pheasant I always do it as Sunday roast type as you would chicken, however I fancy trying something new, any ideas?
  12. But your still adding bull? Yes I'd be watering it down but not as much as I'd like too
  13. It doesn't take s rocket scientist to figure out that by breeding a bull greyhound to another bull greyhound is adding more bull into the pups... I know what your saying why not use a bitch that's already doing the job, buy anyone I know that's ever used a greyhound bitch to a good bull grey dog the pups have turned out good so it's a risk I'm going to take
  14. . I know what your saying but1. do you know of a good bull grey bitch that's racey 100% silent and the owner is also wanting to use a dog like this? 2. What is wrong with using a greyhound bitch? There fiery, fast and will chase and kill most things that move, I'm trying to produce pups that are agile and have good speed but with the aggression and temperament of the dog, I know it's a lot to ask for but it's worth a shot definitely the right choice maate don't be swayed. As you say the dogs is anchor dog...by breed to a greyhound your almost guarantee to get fast dogs. Breeding to a bitch
  15. I know yeah they stand no chance at all haha

  17. Good luck with the breeding fella..Dont mind the clowns on here who only like to talk about going out... Ive seen some great dogs bred from 5/8 grey 3/8bull back to greyhound again..use be some fine dogs on here years back bred like this off Turk's golly dog Cheers mate yeah if it goes to plan I think the pups could be well worth it, the photos really don't do him justice his head is like a slab and his work ethic is unreal, he will run his heart on rabbit but never caught one before haha, he's as hard as they come too wags his tail whilst on the sharp end kind of dog he is
  18. I can't take the credit for this dog though the lad that bred him did an exceptional job in the breeding and the rearing of this dog I ended up with him due to circumstances but I'm glad I did because he has been a hell of a dog and still has plenty left in him
  19. A 2nd generation 1/4 bull 3/4 greyhound dog a mate of mine had, would mark rabbits and fox, if there was a fox in the field he would blow out his cheeks so you knew there was one, if there was a fox near by in a woodland or cover he would find it, he'd retrieve rabbit live to hand and kill a fox before you could get to him, he worked with terriers and was an expert at bringing down roe and muntjac, also seen him take hare numerous times in the daytime, jack of all trades he was
  20. Did that dog won edrd a couple of years on the bounce, a few years back? Yeah 3 years on the trott mate Thought so, i placed it. for feck sake don't ake his head any bigger Now now don't be bitter
  21. That's a lump of a dog, is it a half cross? he's 3/8 5/8 mate but he is built like an half cross he's mines bud
