  2. @scotty12 what was the really good dog called again in 2000s from up Scotland that a young teenage lad owned ? Sure it was from up Fife way. It was meant to be an absolute machine and it’s just disappeared from pedigrees . It’s doing my head in trying to remember it . It was a proper unusual name like shamrock / seaweed or summat like that .
  3. What are people’s thoughts on the Lab Greyhound first cross? I’ve only heard stories from the 80s of people running these type from older boys. Don’t see or hear of any, only one I have seen is a lass in the dales who runs a lab grey X Collwhipgrey and looks superb (lamping and picking up / works water) I have already got my self a greyhound from irish coursing lines ready, she’s due in 3-5 weeks. I’ve lined up a well bred black working lab too. I have a CollieWhippetGreyhound that is fairly decent and retrieves to me but doesn’t rush back (understandable he’s very explos

  11. September can be a dodgy time to go as it`s right in the middle of hurricane season which is from August through to the end of October....there has been 2 already, we are only a 30 hour drive from Florida or 71/2 hour flight so we get the hurricanes come past us pretty much every time.... it will cost a fair bit during summer holidays, plus the entry fee to the parks are pretty steep, if it would cost you 10k at september time, at a guess, i would say, in the school holidays you could pay another 4-6k more.....
