Those engines will have to be removed , stripped and rebuilt. All bearings , injection parts, wiring and electronics replaced. They will then be sent to a test cell for testing, then remounted and ground tested, finally tested in flying conditions. Replacing a main rotor shaft on a big jet engine can cost half a million pound. I absolutely agree, I don’t think we should be prescribing anyone but that is the territory people who support things like PA, ANTIFA, Socialist Worker, Hope Not Hate have put us in……all they have done all their existence is call for banning things !………they never expected that logic to get turned back on them. So, I suspect that a large proportion of people are probably more happy to see them done in by their own rhetoric rather than the fact they are banned !
