My luck must be in.me and my lad were out earlier with the air rifle after squirell. And my lad said there's a red squirrel over there amongst 2 rabbits.about 60yds away.

We both watched it for about 5 mins nice white chest on it.

It seemed to spend more time on the floor than up the trees

It was making its way down a small hedgerow.

I'm going back tommorow to try and get a pic of it.

But I've only got a phone to take pics.

Fingers crossed I will get a pic if he's still in the area.

Have they got a big territory does anyone know.

There are reds doing really well up on the moors near Blanchland/Edmundbyers (County Durham)  I took this back in late August last year up there     I was amazed just last week to see a red squi

Yeah loads of forestry blocks TC, hopefully the Grey's in the main stay away,lovely to see the Red's knocking about up here

I've only ever seen 3 Grey's up here in this part of Cumbria,only Reds in the main thankfully
