Looking to get my hands on a decent pair of boots.. Buying them is the easy part.. But Choosing them is difficult..
Will be out shooting, and may want them to be suitable to wear out on the odd dig with my Mr!!
Any advice appreciated??? 😊

Thanks

I've lowa combat great boot this season

I've worn meindl, and scarpa boots for nearly 20 years, and they are good, but the Lowa are in a different league

Like the look of the Hanwag boots myself, but with the primaloft insulation aswell as the goretex lining the Lowas are going to take some beating

Another vote for Meindl. I bought a pair of Meindl Engadin early autumn and they've stood up to everything I've thrown at them. I'm a bit anal with boot care though, I like to rinse them and wax them after every trip out. Only takes a couple of minutes but the leather's never whetted and the water just beads off them. They've got a liner that expands slightly from the warmth of your foot to give a nice snug fit. Best boots I've had.

I agree with Burnie69, i have the meindl glockners for digging and general walking and they are spot on.

Got the Meindl Douver Extreme after a recommendation from a friend. Best thing I ever bought myself. Combined with Seal Skinz socks you cannot go wrong. I would be hard on gear but they are lasting me into a third season.....

First time in my life having dry feet.....
