mattybugeye 884
Yea no worries mac . I find its trial and error mainly finding a blueing that takes to your metal I'm going to hot blue the next one for a change but the liquid cold blue I think is just as strong only gun it's not as good on I've found is hw's after speaking with Aaron wheeler he said the same it's something to do with the mix of metals they use and prefer hot blue . Yea go for it mate best tool is a bench grinder with wire wheel not too course then fine empty cloth and finally wire wool got the airsporter like glass from scabby as hell . I'm struggling to find a small ball bearing for the loading port index spring need around a 4 mm one will have to pay for one from chambers by look tried cycle shops and even a bearing manufacturer yesterday both equally Un helpful lol Edited September 20, 2014 by mattybugeye 1 Quote Link to post
bigmac 97kt 13,735
Sounds stupid matty but what about old bike wheels are the ones in the spindles not 4mm or why do you go to the recycle dump and see if you can find some thing there just a thought atvbmac  Quote Link to post
