its a 5 pound chicken if it came to massageing its arse with cream i would just ring its neck and buy another not taking the piss mate i know you only looking out for it but ring its neck and buy anot

Now i know were talking about a Hen here but if i said to my girl that i was dying and the only way she could save me was to set her alarm for every 4 hours and she was to get up and rub olive oil on

your just being fecking stupid now how would you like someone keeping you in a coop all day long, feeding you pellets and the odd scraps, you would not like it would you

It sound's like a prolapse to me or it could be egg bound..can you gently feel to see if they is a egg there..if they is you would be best soaking it's vent in some warmish water for a bit and put some olive oil in a syringe and squirt it gently into the vent..if they is no egg there try soaking the vent in warm water again and gently push the prolapse back in..

Prolapse, keep it away from other birds or they will peck at it and it will die of blood loss

it would have to be a good hen for me to do that, or the ferrets would be munching on that prolapse :bad: how do they perform in laying terms after suffering one? i know sheep are prone to it a lot even after its been stitched up.
