robsharpe 1 Posted September 11, 2006 Report Share Posted September 11, 2006 i was down the shoot am in on saturday looking at the crop of sloes just hope no one gets in there first heres what they looking like on another note is it just me or is there a bumper harvest on berries this year here in the north east there is loads hawthorn ,holly ,rowan ,sloes ,rose hips elderberry it seems there is more round this year than for many years anyone else seen the same just tell me if its because am getting old and noticing things more :11: Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Don't miss the blackberries or as the northerners call them brambles: 1lb blackberries + 1lb sugar + 1 bottle of wisky (any will do) Keep turning the bottle till all the sugar has disolved, longer if you can wait.
