Yea I find this happens with young ferrets. They seem to grow out of it. Mine just have big ceramic dog bowl.s..sometimes they like to stand in the bowl and crunch away theyve got one for water aaswell. All other bowls they would tip up.

Yes and there is positive methods you do not need to hit flick ferrets personally I think its just laziness as people dont have time and patience so quickest way is to flick the ferret on the nose and make it fear people.
