Guest hyperion
was mooching through the woods off the footpaths today and found what looked to be where some one had had a camp or den a fair while ago, remains of a fire and plastic bottles, general junk spread around the place and was having a nosey round when i caught a glint of metal under the leaf litter! kicked it over and found this..................... looks to be some sort of climbing pully whatsname type doofer! any one got an idea what it is? also ive not really got a use for it so if any one wants it ill part with it for the price of the postage!, might be handy for hauling a dead body up a tree or some thing! cheers hyperion

SNAP SHOT 194
looks like a brake pulley to stop you gently if you fall from heights, slows the stop of a fall rather than a sudden stop..... thus leading to less injury, snap.

droid 11
rodeostop anti-fall device, commonly used on climbing walls Looks like a fall arrest device to me too. I had summat similar when I lived near Sheffield and had no-one to go climbing with, and fancied doing something harder than my soloing grade.
ArchieHood 3,692
hyperion, if it wasnt used their should be a large pile of shit under a tree nearby
chess 0
Nope youre all wrong, the last picture quite clearly shows hyroglifics similar to ones carved on the inner chamber of the Great Tuta Tuta Pyramid. These are believed to relate to a visit from another lifeform 30000 BC.
Guest hyperion
hyperion, if it wasnt used their should be a large pile of shit under a tree nearby ha ha! looks like it had been there for a while archie the rope it was attatched to was green with algy and starting to rot! cant see any one using it to climb any of the trees where i found it as its a young part of the wood and most of the trees arent much thicker than my leg! cheers hyperion
