  1. Nope youre all wrong, the last picture quite clearly shows hyroglifics similar to ones carved on the inner chamber of the Great Tuta Tuta Pyramid. These are believed to relate to a visit from another lifeform 30000 BC.
  2. Dont think it will be a house sparrow, they only nest in holes, boxes under eaves etc.......whats a pinkie ? you got me there Good man OTC love a bit of nesting Found a few some chaffys a grate and blue tit in various boxes. What i did find intresting was some House sparrows nesting in the tops of some blackthorns near the house.Nest is similar to that of a pinkie but not quite the same craftmanship as the pinkie. Never seen that before mind is it relativly comman ?anyone know
  3. Hang on a minuite, yes pigeon shooting can produce some great sporting shots but at the end of the day whichever crop you are shooting over you are protecting it FACT, therefore shooting them in the air or on the ground isnt going to be something the farmer is going to loose any sleep over. Me, a pigeon tastes the same if i shoot it in the air or on the ground
  4. You can take trout from around the end of March, check your rod licence and your local club regulations Rex..........anyone seen Mackem
  5. How green are your horns now mate Askerns, always question what you think you can see. If the Fox told you he had caught a pheasant would you believe him Grasshopper..............
  6. Take a close look Mr Greenhorn, its a female mallard for sure, can tell by the brown breast feathers and when did you ever see a pheasant with white down feathers
  7. Caught a couple last year and barbecued them bank side with a couple of 12inch browns and ive got to say the trout tasted far better
  8. Well, i wont be out again this season, its been a good one for duck, the best ive had. Its mostly been oportunistic with shooting over flooded barley fields and stubbles. we started in mid september with the first flood, there was a lot of geese around and then the duck moved in. The first flight i couldnt believe the number of duck that had been atttracted to the splash, teal in packs of 15 - 20 swept in, mallard came and we even knocked down a few Gadwall. Towards the end of that flight we stood at the edge of the water picking off the mallard and ignoring the teal, they were too quick.
  9. I'ts so easy when you no how its done.. me and my mate rang one farm and they went sure thats fine come down tomorrow we have rabbits, pigeons and deer stalking needing doing.. were going down tomorrow. can't wait.. all you have to say is you are wondering for a small plot of land. And then you woke up
  10. They more than likely have found a more attractive food source, keep feeding and im sure they will return in time
