fireman 11,465
It's because you can deal with things like that that most of us on here will find ourselves in simular situations,be it karma or any other cosmic happpening thats unexplanable a lot of us will be the ones around when help like this is needed.I had a spate of being just behind rta's with deer a few years ago and they were all still alive but in need of pts when i stopped and all the other drivers who stopped didn't have a clue as what to do,it got me down a bit as i was having to kill these deer and was looked down at as a out right killer a few times.I said to my misses i'll not stop again but she explaned that those animals needed someone like me to stop and stop there suffering,i just think i'll allways be in the wrong/right place at the wrong/right time as it's part of most of our lives dealing with wildlife and better to have someone that knows what he's doing than leaving it to joe public in general. You did well bud, well done. ferret15 0
a few years back i was hit by the car coming straight at me it just veered across the road for no apparent reason. on getting out of the car i see a very scared looking woman struggling to get away from a muntjack !! it was leaping all over the car.she had found it injured/unconscious and decided to take it to the vets she just lay it on the back seat it came to and freaked out and she lost control of her car. i rushed over opened the door and it ran of in to the woods. i don't know what she expected the animal to do when it woke up i assume she thought it would just lay there. luckily for her no one was hurt. can u imagine the devastation a pissed of badger would cause why do so many people think there cute and cuddly. You did well bud, well done. i think your right there i live in the middle of a housing estate and there are other people with dogs all around us yet in the space of a year i had three strays/lost dogs turn up on my doorstep all wearing collars and tags one of which had been involved in a car accident and had run from the scene a week before. and i am always finding escaped/lost dogs wandering about the woods. i seam to attract them.lol
