Lee85 44
Has anyone ever used/seen these pellets, I bought this 500 tub for £6. If you look at the picture, the end of the pellet has a little bobble on it that points a different direction to the pellet itself. I'm currently picking the 'nobble' off with my nails before each shot, but its a pain. Surely this affects the aerodynamics of the pellet? Or does it not with it being so small? Quote Link to post
Guest buster321c
Most pointed pellets are crap , unless they are made to a very high standard they will all differ slightly , thus causing them to fly inconsistently . The best pellets are the domed type , of which tere are many . Personally i use RWS Superdomes , which all my guns seem to like , Accupells , and AA Diablos , are also good , try em and see Quote Link to post
Guest Scuba1
That looks to me like a very rough made pellet a la china. Are they accurate in your gun ?? Is it my eyesight or is there a cast joit running along the side as well ?? ATB Michael Quote Link to post
Lee85 44
i think there is a cast joint yeah, there shite to be honest, dont fire correctly at all, i might take them back, problem is when you buy them theres a seal on the tub, like a medicine tub, what you pull off an break. I need to get myself some dome heads, might get the ones you say, do you buy them from the net? Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
That is a seriously bad batch, that crap should not be there on the front of the pellet...take them back!!! Quote Link to post

Guest Scuba1
Sometimes it is better to pay a bit more and hit what you are after then having loads of cheap misses. ATB Michael Quote Link to post

andyfr1968 772
Daft shaped pellets never seem to work, and if you've got a bad batch of them, forget it. Quote Link to post
SEAN3513 7
not to be used for anything...........................apart from a door stop!!!!!! thanks for sharing...........these should be given a wide berth. air arms field or accupells ,nearly twice the price...but, more than twice the pellet. cheers sean Quote Link to post
Lee85 44
just swopped em out for some dome headed spitfire pellets, similar price. Quote Link to post
Guest Scuba1
The thing that I don't understand ( apart from polish) is, that some of us spend XXXXXX pounds on a rifle, scope lights etc, and then then by ammo made by Barney Rubble and company. What is the point. Its like buying a Porsche and then try to run it on dogs piss. I am not having a go. I just don't understand it. ATB Michael Quote Link to post
Sterry 0
well said scuba. A bloke suposedly clued up on air rifles told me that a pellet is a pellet and he had some jank SMK pellets, they werent even circularand each pellet looked different unlike the accupells and Air arms diablo, each one tin after tin look exactly the same.
