MR TEA POT 1,287
My first ever rabbit i shot many moons ago...............i had a bsa supersport with telescopic sights on,i could not hit feck all with them so in a moment of anger i took them off and chucked them in a river(relising now you have to zero them in )so all i had was the open sights that came with the rifle, went back home put them on and went back out again,i was just coming to the gate when i looked over and there was a young rabbit just sat there so i ducked behind the wall to load up and then slowly peeked over the wall,it was still there,i took aim,i was all over the place could not keep the rifle still with all the excitement....... .When i finaled calmed down i took aim, pulled the trigger and the rabbit just dropped i was over the moon, ran home to tell my mum and dad,but iwas that excited i could not get my words out,i was like arkwright of "OPEN ALL HOURS",when i finaly told them........they turned round and said"what you talking about son, didn't hear you,we was watching telly" .I was just stood there with my mouth open and a rabbit that was dripping blood all over the carpet Edited March 31, 2009 by MR TEA POT Quote Link to post

BBB 7
well theres so many but a couple of my favourites . where when i shoot and killed 2 rabbits with one shot[ unintentional] with my webley raider . i lined up on a rabbit about 25 yards away shot and 2 rabbits summarsalted into the air both dead. i hit the first rabbit straight threw the eyes the slug exited and killed a second stood a couple of yards behind hitting it in the neck. another is when i was walkin down a track into some woods i had permision to shoot squirrel's in. i saw a weasel nip across the track and into an ivy bank about 20 yards in front of me. stood still ,gave a couple of sqeak's, weasel came out the ivy into the middle of the track, stood up on it's back leg's. i dropped him were he stood with a chest shot pop goes that weasel. Guest air gunner
I had just dropped a pigeon in a tree where there was a squirrel that has had the better of me a few times so there i was inspecting the pigeon and a leaf fell on my head so i looked up and mr clever squirrel was sitting above me i stood up and saw i could only see the ears and eye over the branch i took my chance to get the critter and took a standing shot and it just fell i never normally take standing shots just in case but this one dropped the squirrel that i had been after for weeks perfect head shot just behind the eye a 5 second shot from standing.
