I have a beddy x whippet/grey, cracking dog for the rabbits but not interested in feather. I've got room for another dog at the end of summer so whats the best cross for feather.

The best dog i ever had for feathers was a collie grey whippet.It is the dog on the right of my photo.And you can all shout your balls off.As i have had springers and labs.This lurcher could blow them out of the water.

GSP X GREYHOUND can point the bird, stalk up to it and catch it sitting/flying

I had a bedlington greyhound dog he was always out with me dads 22. little fecker werent a bad shot though

i use my lab mate, rescued him at 10 month as a pet and thought i mite aswell take him out with me, picked it up naturally but he is still learning, on the other hand my mates whippet/greyhound is a great all rounder, good on most quarry and will retrieve feather all day too. if your into your running dogs mite be better to bring a lurcher on with feather aswell.. either way ATB with it mate.. i was keeper on partridge beat with plenty of duck, snipe, geese too and best i ever saw was a nova scotia tolling retriever. better than the spaniels.
