Rhodey 96 Posted February 22, 2009 Report Share Posted February 22, 2009 Mr Tea Pot came round on saturday for a trip over to a local fishery. Got there just after 7am, started with a hedge row that we needed to finish off from the week before only 1 bolted. So we decided to head to the far side of the permission, plenty of signs of rabbits fresh droppings damage to the barley crop etc after a long hard day only ended with 3 rabbits in total not a great bag but a good day out. I think one problem was mr tea pot singing the greatest hits of New Kids On The Block all day they were laughing in the burrow that hard they couldn't bolt. We will be back up soon either with ferrets or air rifles. Another good day in the shires see you in a few weeks and don't forget the dog this time. Mr Tea Pot singing another NKOTB hit. Yes i was a very big new kids on the block fan in my younger days i had every poster and song they ever made,it got so bad my mum sat me down on the bed one day and asked me if i was gay .I still blast out a few of their hits when out and about STEP BY STEP,HANGIN TOUGH,PLEASE DON'T GO GIRL,they where the days. Well thanks to RHODEY for the invite up again,it was a cracking day made even better by your stopnet poles could have held a tennis court net up,felt like a lumber jack carring them around all day . Heres a few pics. There was a dyke at the end of this road and there was rabbit runs all the way down it with fresh scarpes and dropping,but when we ferreted the holes nothing . RHODEY setting nets in a tight space,not much room to move about.He told me he likes getting into tight places All in all a good day not a big bag but it was great getting out and having a laugh .
