dpb82uk 138
Welcome to the Cheshire Game and Angling Fair Next Event Sunday 16th August 2009. Gates open at 9am – 6pm Admission: £15.00 per car (multiple occupants), £5 single occupant/pedestrian. Peover Park, Knutsford Fishing The Cheshire Game and Angling Fair is different to most other Game Fairs. We are a non-profit making venture and to-date, we have donated well in excess of £40,000. We are proud that all our proceeds are donated to recognised Country Sports supporters, along with many local charities and rural amenities, ranging from Schools and Churches to local Hospitals. The Game Fair is an ideal opportunity for the whole family to come and enjoy the day together, trying new things and enjoying the old and established favourites. Once again, we are happy to be presenting a wide and varied programme, which we feel sure you will all enjoy. Quote Link to post

Ginette 0
I wouldn't buy a ferret at a fair anyway. Bloody cruel if its a hot day! I've heard many a story about ferrets overheating and dying at fairs. Would boycott anyone with kits at a fair, different if its an adult on show in the right conditions mind. Quote Link to post

Then if folk were Really interested I'd give out my address. How could you garauntee what homes they go to, its hard enough otherwise? If it were the right conditions fair enough, but game fairs tend to be mostly in the summer. I met a guy one year just showing off the parents and he liked to weed out the time wasters who didn't have a clue. Quote Link to post
doddsy1970 9
I can understand showing adult ferrets that have been used to handling but in my opinion showing kits is just asking for trouble because as we all know kits are used to feeling with their mouths when they are young. Couple this with the stress of having lots of people and different smells and sounds around them, it is just going to end up with someone who dosen't know anything about ferrets getting bitten and then other people getting the wrong impression of ferrets as smelly, bitey, nasty animals.
