gnasher16 31,602 Posted February 2, 2009 Report Share Posted February 2, 2009 Thing is mate at least 1/4 of the london underground network is above ground.....but the main reason it shuts down at times like this is driverss cant get to work,simple.....and if you dont like london dont come here....easy innit ...sometimes its unavoidable i know,i f*****g detest it up north,hence i avoid going up there whenever possible. fooking ell that told me , i take it you live there. i feel for ya No i dont anymore i live about 20 miles outside but im east london through and through and proud to be...what im not proud of and had to get away from was the armpits of the worlds shit turning up and living there.....where i was raised was the most exciting and fascinating place a kid could be,for a rough and tumble type the east end of london of the 60,s and 70,s was a fantastic place to be full of great characters and real people....now the place is still great but the people are the shit of society,traditional old time pubs being replaced with f*****g nanu gangats temples f**k all that....hence i didnt want my kids brought up around that and moved away which i found hard to do....still it could have been worse,i could have had to face life as a northerner !! Same as that son, Bow Boy by birth, then done my tour of "narm" Dagenham that is,, and yes it has changed so much since I was a nipper, but its not NORTH, lol,, the furthest north I ever got was Peterborough and they spoke kinda strange there, so I thought nooooooooo back south for me,, and that's where I am south Spain, lol,, and its Fecking freezing here too, only a laugh lads be gentle.. HOW the fcuk i dont know, does SNOW stop a train from moving . jesusussss. i drove an hr and half to work in the snow, no problem - just drive careful and NOT too slow. f****n hate people who drive 1mph = THEY are the ones that should NOT be on the road AT ALL.
